My Journey
I grew up on a farm in Jamaica, where the soil taught me what books could not. My grandfather—respected for his knowledge of metaphysical healing—and my grandmother—who sold our harvest at market—raised me with an unspoken reverence for the land. Herbs were never a trend; they were a way of life. I didn’t always realize how sacred those roots were. It was a subtle but stern part of my upbringing, bitter teas before eating or you just wouldn’t eat.
It wasn’t until I migrated to the U.S. and faced a personal health crisis that the teachings of my elders returned to me. A degenerative spinal condition, brought on by processed foods, stress, and environmental toxins, became my awakening. Doctors recommended invasive surgery—but something in me knew there was another way. I returned to the herbs I had once taken for granted, began detoxing and fasting, and ultimately healed myself. From there, everything opened.
I didn’t start Alkaline Jungle to sell products. I began by sharing what I knew—offering guidance, creating protocols, teaching others how to cleanse and align. Eventually, people asked me to source the herbs myself. The brand was born from a genuine need for healing—not just in body, but in spirit.
Our Mission
Alkaline Jungle exists to restore wholeness—physically and spiritually. We offer herbs harvested from trusted sources, with an emphasis on ethical sourcing and energetic purity. But more than that, we offer education. Because true healing is a journey—not a transaction.
